Why We Call It a Preview and Not a Video

It would be easy to market this as "AI video generation" and let the word do the exaggerating for us — plenty of tools do exactly that. We'd rather you understand what you're clicking before you click it. The animate step is a real-time motion treatment: it reads the still image z-image-turbo already produced, then applies camera-style panning and zooming to it so the frame feels alive without any new visual information being invented frame by frame. Getting a Motion Preview That Reads Well

  • Start from an image with depth Scenes with a clear foreground and background (a street, a landscape, a room) animate more convincingly than a flat, centered product shot — the pan-and-zoom has more to work with.

  • Landscape or square both work Portrait crops leave less room for the zoom to move across, so square or landscape source images tend to give a smoother-feeling loop.
